As many of you know last night was the BCS National Championship game between the Auburn Tigers and Oregon Ducks. Auburn won the contest 22-19. Surprisingly this game came down to a last minute field goal by Auburn's Wes Byrum. Coming into the game most people thought it would be a high scoring shootout between Auburn's high scoring offense lead by Cam Newton and Oregon's offense lead behind LaMicheal James running attack. Instead it came down to each teams defense and who would show up for all four quarters.

Hi, I don't like you
I was a bit disappointed by the game. Not that it was a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. Actually, I was expecting just Auburn to score more then they did. I guess I have to give Oregon's D some props.

Agreed, except i was expecting Oregon's running game to be putting points up against Auburns not so good run Defense. Gotta give credit to both Defenses though, they both had a great game. Would have been alot more fun to watch as a 31-28 game imo though Smile.

What do you expect, it wasn't a surprise that Auburn won. They play in the SEC so there for they played tougher teams and still went UNDEAFETED and then you look at the Ducks; they play in the PAC10 sorry to say but it isn't the most inpressive Conference. I go for Washington Huskies but I do admit that they aren't the best.
