(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The question is simple.

Do you believe in reincarnation? Have you lived past lives, will you live again in the future? It's a controversial subject, but each side presents just as similarly compelling arguments.

Discuss, I'd be interested to hear your opinions!

The same can be said of time, it is a dimension that we humans lack the sensory detail to objectively perceive, therefore we fail to comprehend its true nature. So a specific event has a beginning and an ending relating to time, just as a specific object occupies a specific amount of space. However the amount of space that everything in totality takes up, or the beginning and ending of everything , aka the universe, does not exist as time and space are infinite.

Cosmology trumps your philosophical arguments. Science has known for years that the universe (as we know it) will indeed come to an end. Google is your friend.

The big crunch or the heat/freeze death are all theories based on speculations about dark matter, there is also the theory of the multiverse as well. None of these have enough solid evidence to really back them up completely. But then again, they're probably more reliable than my musings :P

And most of these theories are about the state of the universe as we know it, ie: planets, solar systems, galaxies etc. All of these endings simply produce an alternate state of the universe which do not correlate to the ending of space or time, I guess I really didn't talk about the fate of the cosmological universe but rather the notion/entity of "everything".

There is no need for dark matter (which definitely exists by the way, even if we don't know what it consists of) in the big chill model. The fact that the universe is expanding at an exponential rate has been known for years.

If nothing changes within space-time, then the universe is reduced to a dead shell. What we have now is an argument about definitions (how do we define a "dead" universe, etc.).

Very true, I was thinking more of not an unchanging universe but one that ceases to exist. Which none of the scientific theories suggest. But I suppose you are right in that if there is no change, it can be considered dead.

Daddy's home.
It's not something I believe in but I have to ask the question, what is DeJa Vu? People say it's something that you have seen in your past life, suggesting reincarnation, others say different. Now if you says the first one, then essentially you believe in reincarnation. I don't know what it is, I just get it, and get it a lot. Now this may sound weird and that I'm one of those freaks that goes outside with tin foil on my head to block shit entering my brain, but I can assure you I'm not weird. Anyway, sometimes when I see something in a dream, I see it in real life. It's like Deja Vu at first, then I remember the dream and realise I have previously dreamt it. It has happened a few times, nothing special though like lottery numbers, just some small insignificant things. Now what's that? Deja vu in reverse? I have no idea, but I really hope someone can say that's happened to them so I don't seem like a weird person with a armadillo hat or tin foil saying "Aliens are coming" or "The government are trying to scan my head". Just thought I'd throw that out there.
