It's not quite as simple as that. Regions really effect the way people talk. If you compare the way I structure my sentences and the choice of words, it'll be very different to someone from London.

Yes, people even talk different at 25 km (15 miles) from you.

I live in a place called Newport. We're right next to Cardiff, you can literally go 200 yards down the road and you're in a different city. In the space of that 200 yards we have different accents.

The former I'd say, being British. Who is going to give a nonbias answer from one of those two countries. Even then the 'languages' are very similar... small difference really. But agree with what I've read above, I do not speak the same as an english person would, nor a welsh person nor someone from Ireland.

british is best cause it was made 1st. Only reason america speack english is cause america used to be in the british empire. The british owned america then they lost it. Then all the irish arrived. and now half of american citizens are irish decendants
