He shouldn't die from stabbing himself in the stomach. The only way he would is if he stabbed himself, and stayed there for hours without getting help so he would bleed out. One problem might be if the knife was rusty, and then he could get an infection. Anyway, sorry to hear about that, and when he gets better you should try to show him you're there for him to help, and that life is worth living for.

Slim chance of dying. I'm terribly sorry to hear what happened to him. Maybe his girlfriend will finally realize what it's like to be with a real man and love him again. Anyways, I still think that he wont die and that he will be able to make it out alive, but someone really needs to comfort him in this tough time for him.

Why would a girlfriend want her boyfriend to stab himself in the stomach? She should be making him sammiches.
