My Pokémon Mega Thread:
Please, only view this thread if you meet the following criteria:
• You want to be the very best, like no one ever was
• If catching Pokémon is your real test, and to train them is your cause
• If you are willing to travel across the land, searching far and wide
• If you have/want to catch them all
Also, all you kids who grew up on Digimon, Magic, and Yu-Gi-Oh can GTFO, real trainers only!
I guess that clears things up, now let us begin
[multipage=Pokémon, a Quick History]
Pokémon, a Quick History:
Pokémon ( POH-kay-mahn) is a media franchise published and owned by the video game company Nintendo and created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996. Originally released as a pair of interlinkable Game Boy role-playing video games, Pokémon has since become the second most successful and lucrative video game-based media franchise in the world, behind only Nintendo's own Mario series.
Pokémon properties have since been merchandised into anime, manga, trading cards, toys, books, and other media. The franchise celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2006, and as of 28 May 2010, cumulative sales of the video games (including home console versions, such as the "Pikachu" Nintendo 64) have reached more than 200 million copies

All Pokémon Gen 1-5:

Sorry, but I’d rather not copy and paste 1000 Pokémon for you guys to sift through so this webpage has Pokémon generations 1-5 on it. If you don’t know what I’m getting at with the term generations its all the Pokémon starting with Pokémon Red, Blue etc., then ending with the newest version Black & White.
[multipage=Get Pokémon on a Droid]
Get Pokémon on a Droid:
1.) For a Gameboy Advance version of the game, go to the market and search for “Tiger GBA” and you should be linked to its download page. This is free of cost and is the only free full version of a Gameboy Advanced emulator, download it.
For a regular Gameboy version of the game go to the market and search “GB Emulator’ and you have the option of downloading a 99 cent version of the emulator or a lite version. The downside of the light version is that it does not enable you to save and load the game as you wish.
2.) In the market search for “Emulator ROMs” and choose the first link. This app is constantly updated with new ROMs and has every Pokémon game, download it. When it finishes downloading start it up, search for your desired Pokémon game and download it.
3.) Start up the GBA or GB emulator from your apps menu. If you have the GB emulator you’ll have to scroll down to the ROMs folder and click on your game, and for the GBA emulator you need to hit the menu button and hit “search for ROMs” and it should pop right up.
4.) FSU and go catch Rayquaza.
[multipage=Religious Skepticism]
Religious Skepticism:
Pokémon has been criticized by some Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Christian concerns over Pokémon have primarily addressed perceived occult and violent themes as well as the concept of "Pokémon evolution" (which some relate to the theory of evolution), which is said to go against the Biblical creation account in Genesis, which the majority of Japanese, not adhering to Christianity, do not believe in.
The Vatican, however, has countered that the Pokémon trading card game and video games are "full of inventive imagination" and have no "harmful moral side effects". In the United Kingdom, the "Christian Power Cards" game was introduced in 1999 by David Tate who stated, "Some people aren't happy with Pokémon and want an alternative, others just want Christian games." The game was similar to the Pokémon TCG but used Biblical figures.
Props to my bro Wikipedia again ^

I think that about wraps it up, I got super special permission from MBO in the SB so don’t bitch about this if you have a thread similar because my thread is the Mega version of yours, see^
If anyone wants to add anything post it and I’ll add another multi-page. There was a thread made that had about 10 pokemon in it in the computer lounge but the guy who made it got banned, so i don't think we should be having any problems there...
