this could either be one of the biggest virus threats ever or the bigger april fools prank ever. Which one do you think it is?

I think that it is real, come on how else would this make it into CNN and other big news sources.

And post whether or not you'll be on the computer tomorrow. I for one will be I'm backing up all my files right now updating what I can and putting passwords on alot of my important files. Tomorrow I will use McAfee to go on a firewall lockdown and search the web safely.

I practically on have AVG Anti-Virus Free to protect me
but im not going to be on my PC all day tomorrow.

I believe it is real. However the guys behind this are smart enough not to actually release it tomorrow. Everyone is watching and even with a release it will be caught quicker with all the hackers in the world working to find a way to prevent or have as little damage possible come with this attack.

The attack will not come April 1, but probably in the coming weeks after once the hype has died down and people not being as alert anymore about the virus. This causing for more infected computers and a frenzy once again to patch the issue. A win for the creators.

However, that is just my belief but none the less you should still take precautions and update your computer and be on alert, I would reccommend not even using your computer much tomorrow. If you do just be smart about what you are viewing. Hell you may already have the virus, since it is out there already just not being "activated" until tomorrow supposedly. Well good luck everyone.

Most hackers now a days that are true hackers I should say are not doing it for any sort of fame though. They are in it to obtain money, hackers used to do stuff just to show off and stuff now they use the information they get for more useful matters.
