The U.S. Border Patrol says Sergio Hernandez Guereca, 15, was pelting U.S. agents with rocks from the Mexican side of the Rio Grande river last June when Border Patrol agents on the U.S. side shot him to death.The agent who shot Hernandez has never been identified.

I'm also mexican, but I agree that Sergio was being stupid for assaulting border patrol officials with rocks.

I love how nobody understands the lives of the border patrol. When you see border patrol agents getting killed by illegals and smugglers for the cartel then nobody says anything, but when a border agent defends himself it turns into this. Yes, it is a shame that a young man had to lose his life and there may have been a better way to subdue the people but even watching the video nobody knows exactly what happened. You cannot see both sides of the story through that video that they released.

Kid shouldn't have been throwing rocks at the officers. It's assault, plain and simple. How was the officer to know that he didn't have a gun and was just throwing rocks first? His own fault. But otherwise, Lol 25 million. The US wipes it's ass with 25 Million dollar bills.
