(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); after seeing what has happened to YouTube after Google bought it, and what has happened to MySpace after Facebook bought them... I can only imagine the Facebook/Google inbreed backwoods child will be a disaster.

Put on your hard hats kids, cuz pretty soon you're gonna have to raid your mommy and daddy's wallets in order to so much as "Like" your friends pics.

I find it a bit more than strange that every major social network is taking a huge plunge. A major decline, if you will.

Perhaps these 2012 predictions are true

but seriously, I do think we may see "The Age Of Technology" start to fall apart in our generation. It's already starting.

Facebook is a privately-owned company, no one will buy them out anytime soon.

I find it funny how, I've been on an Admin Panel on all of those except google, and I used to exploit/hack accts and make some money off of all the legit one-word sns a long time ago, but I stopped. :P

People are desperate for others to know who they are, hence the Facebook era. Unfortunately, in my opinion, society will never get away from this and it will only continue to grow. It's a shame that so many people would rather sit on Facebook all day telling nobodies about their insignificant lives than being outside, enjoying life and meeting real people in real life.

Well said Como :y:

Meh, Facebook is good for keeping in touch with friends and family I can't see all the time. And also for knowing where/when parties and get togethers are.
