Hi, I don't like you
What a joke.

No reason to sign a petition. It's a given, NO fan wants a lockout. A lame ploy by the NFLPA to make it seem like they care about the fans when its just out to make the owners look like the bad guys.

Basically its what it sounds like. If the NFLPA and the Owners can't agree on a new CBA then there will be no football until one is agreed upon. The draft is still on, but there is no start date on Free Agency if I am remembering correctly.

The owners want a rookie wage scale much the one in place in the NBA, the Players Union doesn't.

The owners want a 18 game season, the don't but will play 18 games if they are compensated and mini camps and other off season programs are shortened.

Both would like better medical care for past and present players, but aren't seeing eye-to-eye on the amount.

Those are the things holding back a new CBA from getting done. Or in a shorter version: money.

Not necessarily. The lockout will probably last up until the 2011-2012 regular season starts. Or so i've heard.
