At least I can fight
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); People who have been revived after dying say they saw a white light.

I have TWO theories:

1) It's Heaven

2) Just thought of this: Maybe people are reincarnated and that white light is the opening of the vagina that leads to the world. LAWL

Lol so what do you guys think? I have no freaking idea, but I'm feeling it's Heaven or something.

I think it's probably just the chemical processes of your brain as it shuts down, it just happens to create the illusion of a you seeing something white when it's just that it's the last thing your brain does.

As Shep said, chemical processes. But I think it's more than just "white is the last thing you see." I think, much like when your life flashes before your eyes, your brain shows you something that comforts you in death. If you believe in a Christian God, you'll probably see a white light and a dead loved one. If you're atheist you'll probably see nothing. Best case scenario, in the split second before death, the brain goes into a supercharged mode and simulates a full scale afterlife unaffected by time.

This sounds like the most logically explanation to me. Although, I guess we'll never really know.

Haxor!
Maybe the white light is the gate into the afterlife. Or like they said above about your life flashing through your eyes. That explanation seems the most reasonable to me, because nobody has found out the full list of capabilities that the brain can do. :O
