Geometry Lesson


This is for the people out there who need help with Sin, Cos, and Tan. You can use an Indian name to remember how and when to use these. The trick is SOH-CAH-TOA (so-kuh-toa). SOH stands for Sin and that is opposite over hypotenuse. CAH stands for Cos and it's adjacent over hypotenuse. TOA stands for Tan and it is opposite over adjacent. You use these when referring to triangles.

You could use this.

However, for me, as I worked with it more often, I was able to remember the placement naturally over time.
