I'm going to start this news thread by saying 'I hope everyone in Egypt get through this hard time and our communities are behind you'
As we saw yesterday President Barrack Obama released a speech to the people of Egypt
"We pray that the violence in Egypt will end and that the rights and aspirations of the Egyptian people will be realised, and that a better day will dawn over Egypt and throughout the world."
His speech has urged people worldwide to send aid to those who need it in Egypt most, through companies such as LiveAid and WorldLife, but the riots still go on whilst your reading this.
The AOE (Army of Egypt) now have gotten involved but is not slowing down the protesters at all. The Protesters now have 2 enemies to fight against, the Army and now The Presidents supporters. Meaning more damage is going to happen and more people are going to get injured. 8 people have been confirmed dead, 30 minutes after gunshots were heard.
Items being thrown are also a problem, rocks the same size as baseballs and tennis balls have injured young men and women. For protection the protesters have made 'man-made' helmets for there protection.
