He was a pretty good pitcher in the MLB and was going to be a middle rotation guy for the Yanks they really need some pitching now... what are your thoughts?
Yankees are going to have a tough time competing with Red Sox with that rotation. Sergio Mitre as your 5th starter in the AL East, yeah good luck with that. Its really the fault of the Yankees front office. They had all their eggs in the Cliff Lee basket with no back up plan at all. Now they have to suffer until at least the All Star Break/Trade Deadline before they will have a legit chance to bolster the rotation.
I hope that offense is ready to go for the first half.
