How to speak 1337!
Don't ask why I made this thread, this is was happens when I have no homework on a monday....
Only read this thread if you are ub3r srs (uber serious) about becoming a 1337 pro...
Step 1 :
1337 is like all languages, it takes time to learn it. It may seem completely "WTF" at the start, but if you learn it for a few weeks you will be able to speak it fluently...
REMEMBER!!! Don't speak or write 1337 in real life, it looks stupid and it makes you look like a ***ktard...
Step 2 :
Use your head. Try to think of what the numbers look like, not what they mean. Such as "3" if turned around makes a capital "E", and "|=" looks like a "F". 1337 speak is more about using your mind to think of the meaning of the symbol/letter than learning the meanings off websites etc...
Step 3 :
Familiarize yourself with common phonetic replacements.... In addition to symbol-for-letter replacement, 1337 can include letters which substitute for other letters, sounds or words. For instance ; "r = are", "teh = the" and "s = z".
Step 4 :
cApItalizE at random. Random capitalization is arguably an integral part of 1337, and it makes you look even more 1337.
Step 5 :
Read over examples or ask a friend to talk in 1337 with you on MSN, facebook or NGU
1337 speak does not come instantly, it takes time. The more you read, the more you learn!Step 6 :

Read this example to see if you understand. (Note this is basic 1337, and advanced 1337 is MUCH more complicated than this begginer stuff)
