I have a been a member since July 2008. I was on NGB before NGU but I forgot my password etc and was not active really. I have been moderator twice and I have had many names including Felcher FU: Outsider). I have seen a lot of changes happen to NGU, some for the good and some for the bad :n: Moderating used to be more than checking the reported posts and shoutbox whoring.. Shit changes though. :y: But still If anyone needs help, don't hesitate to ask. :y: I've been through all the stages of gaming :p Fanboyism, glitching, hacking, having fanboys etc. :p
I like to play Call of Duty and Guitar Hero. :p I also have a very varied music taste. I have met some great e-friends on this site and I hope to make more, but If you get on the wrong side on me, you will know. :p :y:

I've been a member on here since mid-2009. I started off as a forum retard, but as I've been here longer, I've progressed into more of a forum asshole; a progression which I'm very proud of.

I joined in order to find glitches for WaW zombies, but then realised that WaW sucks ass, so I started just posting pointless shit for no reason. I was a big poster in the MW2 section up until its' release, and then started getting noticed by the mods for not having the grammatical ability of a used anal bead.

I started my reign of terror as a news reported back when they didn't suck. Me, JimErased, Oc LoG, Sesh and Gobble. This was before anyone had heard of copy / pasta or N4G. (New news team = LOL)

Joined the site in February '09 in gratitude to Outsider for his glitch videos as 'RedKnight2364'. Lay low in the WaW Nazi Zombies section and the shoutbox for almost a year as non-premium (=D), then finally decided to help out a little more. It took me a very long time to make it to Sectional and due to a few setbacks, I had to go through the news path. I've retired 3 times although I won't be coming back for at least a very, very long time on this one. I've been Non-Premium, Premium, News Staff, Sectional, Moderator and finally, Super Premium in total.

So, I am Oc LoG. but some of you may know me as SERGEANT-KILLER.

So how it all started? a stupid headset, i was a pretty good Black hawk down player on ps2 (#6 in world, ohyeaaah and 1# accuracy, took me one good bullet to kill someone) and then one day, my headset died.
so i went to the shop to buy me a new one, and you could only get one in combination of socom 2, so i bought socom 2.

I didn't like it at first, but i kept trying again and eventually i started to like it and made friends (*cough* wrong glitching/hacking "friends").

But i didnt glitch socom 2 that hardcore, a game i did glitch hardcore was socom 3, and that's how i ended up at the forums BEFORE ngb. (idk the name, it was a flame themed forum)
Later eXoHaX was created, but I was just lurking and noobing around back then.
to the end of ngb i became more and more active, posting useful
stuff for glitches and videos on how to basicly destroy a ps3 by taking it apart (i did achieve a hack with it!).

And then the big thing, outsider and bravostarted discussing who brought all members to the website. outsider left and created NGU, I Folowed him and so did a few others to make a new fresh start.
And that's where i got promoted to moderator.

after a while of doing my job, posting useful stuff, making glitch videos on cod4 and gta for outsider and teambiloc (sniff glitching's DEAD) i got promoted to smod which i had to retire from after a year because of exam revisions and discussions with outsider about something stupid.

Later i got promoted to news team, which i retired from again for personal reasons.

And now i'm a Retired moderator, but i'm still up to get into the moderating team again (= .

So hi to everyone:y:, most of you know me I hope, for those that don't my name is Gareth, A.K.A Garf, short for my PSN garf2b. I joined in March 09, like most I was purely on a leeching mission for glitches because I suck at online gaming lol/facepalm

Once I unlocked the shoutbox I got chatting to a few of the older members, Como, Sert and Mr Outsider and quickly made a few friends. NGU was my new online home. I donated for a few people, I did a few free raffles, I think I made 5 premiums in one day once lol. I even had kids sending me coins stuck to a piece of paper to my house to donate for them lol. (The Mrs was not impressed:catfight

I was made auctions mod and turned it round from the mess it was in. The previous sectional had scammed a few members so it took a long while before the trust was back but now it is one of the busiest sections on the forum, me and Gobz invented the disputes section and I split the Auctions into the many sections you see today.

It sounds sad but it was an achievement that I feel proud of. Obviously running disputes requires trust and good judgement, I was promoted to Moderator, quickly followed by Super Moderator, I stayed like that for some time but all good things come to an end, the site was getting too busy and I was neglecting work and my home life so I had no choice but to retire

On my second stint as Moderator I just couldnt fit in, alot changed in the couple of months while I was retired and it just didnt feel the same. I retired again for the last time. I obviously regret it and wish things could of been different but I felt I had to leave before I was pushed.

I love this place and hope that it continues to grow and grow into one of the greatest gaming sites on the internet. The Mods do a great job, the members make the place what it is (Premiums and non premiums). I hope the changes happen fast before people start to lose interest. I will never lose interest in this place, you might not see me alot these days but I am always here, lurking in the shadows and I am available to help anyone with anything I can. I am 28 and as long as the site stays open I will continue to be an active member:y:

Got here in july2010, got here after lady, after getting banned from a different forum for advertising ngu when i realized this was the better forum lol. Came here to advertise lady's and my clan jsr, we battle a couple clans, then said eff it. Started making friends, i have no clue as to why i was picked for staff other than being awesome (yeah i'm vain). Only took 6 months. I'm married to Lady (if you didn't already know that). We have two kids, a 2.5 year old and a 4 month old. Been married for 3 years.

I'm in the US navy, so i live in virginia(not by choice) i'm stationed on the uss theodore roosevelt. I'm from upstate new york(not the city!) I'm 24, i'm a nerd.

I have a ton of comicbooks, I have a nes, snes, n64, gamecube, sega genesis, ps2 and two ps3's, been playing video games since super mario bros. 3. I skateboard but suck at it, I snowboard when i'm home and it's the winter. I have 4 cars and none of them are exoticly awesome(89civic,98jetta,99jeep,02neon)...

Back story:

I am maddenking1234 and I joined here in december 2008 because I was watching Outsider's glitch videos. It took me a little while to become an active and productive member (1 month), but when I did it really just began to erupt. I began making Co WaW glitch videos in January 2009 and took a different approach than most, I found and recorded "dummy glitches" which were glitches that showed your screen as standing up when you were really laying down. While these were not to popular at the time they were also untouched when Treyarch would patch up glitches making them somewhat valuable. At a certain it really began to show my hard work in my subscriptions and views and before you knew it I was a very recognizable name.

Outsider approached me in March 2009, because of the popularity of my videos, to collaboration a video with him for his channel. So naturally I was excited and said yes, and after a few videos it began opening a path for me to be staff on the site. If I am not mistaken Outsider made me sectional mod for the WaW section, and within a week I was cleaning the forums, helping members, and offering advice to others. A few weeks later I was demoted do to a not so classy staff member drawing me into a fight, but a week later I was staff again only this time I was running the signature of the week. I had a good run with it, but do to people claiming my lack of GFX knowledge I was taken off of SOTW. Even though I wasn't doing any sort of staff related work I was still staff lol, so eventually I was just made sec mod again. That had a short run though because I was dumb enough to spam the shoutbox with a stupid sentence over and over again, I believe the sentence was "I AM A BIG FLUFFY TEDDY BEAR!!!" lol. From the beginning of May - Till the end of June 2009 I made one final run at being mod, this time I was doing everything right and went from sec mod to normal mod in 3 weeks. Unfortunately though I was having trouble in school and attempting to cope with my lackluster life, so I decided to retire which eventually ended up in a permaban from Outsider.

After a summer away I was accepted back to NGU in August of 2009, not to much happened in the next year. I really just hung around in the shoutbox and didn't do to much, but then in August of 2010 I became News team and was really enjoying it. About 2 weeks later Re-Insertion asked me to do vbookie for NFL games, I felt I was juggling news team and vbook well but as it turns out Sert decided to put NGU's favorite piggy on the job. Then I suppose Paul (Super Failed Admin) decided I wasn't posting enough news only reviews so I was demoted again and nowhere we are.

Imma be straight up with this one. I'm Hu$tler (aka. PrayForPlagues). I was promoted around august of 2009, and demoted around January of 2010. There were 2 reasons for my demotion, one being inactivity (I failed to notify anyone that I was going camping), and I started my own site, that completely failed. Anywho, my actual name is Alex. I joined February of 2009, and I consider myself a veteran of this site. I've seen the good, and the bad times of NGU. I joined for one reason. Outsiders WaW glitch videos. This was the first forum I ever tended to, and the only one I can actually say I've stayed loyal to. Ive made enemies, and ive made friends. The enemies I hope can let shit go, because I sure have.

16 years old, born May 18th 1994. Im currently in highschool taking University courses. (That means im above average) I live in Canada, was born in Canada, and will always live in Canada. Canada pride. I smoke weed. Not every day, but most days. I have a job where I get abou 17 hours a week average, at $9.60 an hour. My favorite artist is 50 Cent, but my favorite band is Here Comes The Kraken. I currently do not have a girlfriend, but I am seeing someone.

I wouldn't mind becoming staff again, and if I knew I had the chance I would try. But I can face that I will never be staff, for personal reasons with the higher staff. I have had my differences, and im afraid that will deny me from ever having a staff position again.

Hey guys. Here's my bit:

My name is Steve, but around these parts people usually called me Schaff. I'm a 15 year old who originally joined back in late 2009; not becoming active until around my 15th birthday. When I first came here, I was interested primarily in one thing: hacks. I was a leach for the first few months, but in around late March I started to take more of a community role. People started to realize my existence in the Feedback & Suggestions section, where I questioned bare bone basic things like negative reputation, user groups, staff, etc.

I climbed the ranks of NextGenUpdate fairly quickly, becoming a Reporter in late April. I enjoyed the position, but in early May was offered the position of Sectional Moderator by our fearless leader Outsider. I took the position happily, and got to learning how the NGU staff works. The staff at the time was very helpful, and I felt entirely welcome to the crew. By late May, I was rockin' the blue user color, where my real report whoring began. There isn't much to say about this phase, because in mid-June I was promoted to the rank of Super Moderator. I spent a few months in that position, making a name for myself as the report whore. I eventually left the staff, where I later came back as a reporter. Due to mixed obligations, I ended up losing my position as a reporter. I now act as somewhat of a critic for the site, trying to put my two cents on things so that we can see this site consistently improve.

ive been here for quite some time but have been on and off alot.

it all started when i joined back when the site was first getting its start. at first i was just a leecher then thought i might as well start posting stuff and get known around here. i would do a lot of research and post my findings on here. i would play my playstation and mostly just play cod. i was known for the Playstation Store updates, some info in the Call of Duty 4 section and some in the General discussion. i was made Sectional mod in August about 3 months after i joined and was one of the first sectional mods ever on here. i was pretty much forced to demote myself due to football being a major concern of mine and it would just get in the way of moderating

After the football season was over, i started doin' work again to see if i could gain my mod status back again. after a alot of work, i eventually became a Sectional mod again. i went as a sectional mod for awhile and after i did more work, i was promoted to a Regluar mod, then a super mod after that. i was a Super mod for a while but then summer was rolling around so i figure i would leave and maybe come back. there were some arguments and my account was then deleted. after a little bit of not being on here, i decided to make a new account which is the one i have today.

i have no intentions of becoming a mod again, i am just here for whatever and i have no complaints


now some info about me personally

i am 17 years old and my real name is Eric, my last name would obviously be Hank, which is where the name comes from. i used to play baseball, basketball, football, bowling and golf but no longer play any of those sports

i played basball for 9 years straight up until i was about 13 or 14. football would then come right after the baseball season and i played football for 7 years. there would be some points where i would play baseball, go into the football season, go into the basketball season, then into the bowling season. i was pretty much playing sports year- round. i played football for 5 years as starting fullback then played 2 years of highschool football as starting corner. after i got on the coaches bad side, they benched me the rest of the year. i figured **** it then switch to golf for my junior and senior year. i have been working at a grocery store called Jewel- Osco for a little over a year and a half as a facer and absolutely hate my ****ing job

i am now in the last semester of my senior year and have plans of going to a junior college for a year or 2, then transfering to Illinois State University where i will be able to double major in buisness and accounting and hopefully invest my money and become a millionaire

Set up my own forum while I was still mod here and was advertising it in PM to members telling them to sign up but **** knows why I got demoted though

I joined in May 2008 (rather OG ) I was originally at NGB but i heard that "Outsider" had left so i did some googling/youtubing and i found that he had made a new website called NGU. So i joined up. I was rather inactive at first but when i got my internet sorted i became an active poster with a lot of infractions :p I went from NonPrem - Banned - Prem - Mod - ExMod - News - Exmod. After that i've just been keeping intouch with NGU and now people call me a troll. :p And im not a troll lol, said by shiver =D

Few things about me: My name is Henry Manning, 17 and birthday is 1/1/94. Im into dubstep and heavy metal and live in Bridgwater. I work and live on a farm, got over 300 heifers (female calves) and over 250 milkers (jersey and fresian bred).
