Yes there are rumors going on about Melo being pursued by the Lakers and that they are trying to make a move to get him which would give LA a big help and a huge upgrade at the SF position which could possibly include artest being traded in this deal who knows. Andrew Bynum would be the gem for the Nuggets which would be ideal for them because Bynum will be a stud. This would make LA more of a powerhouse then already and in the article it is said this could be trying to scare the Knicks into giving more. It would be fun to see him and Kobe play what are your guys thoughts on this??

Probably not likely to go to LA as it would be hard to move Bynum but its possible i guess.

If you haven't noticed, he's been dishing way more passes. This isn't the same Kobe from 07'.

We have Pau, LO improved, and several other "great players"

D-wade had his own team? Look at Heat now, 3 all-stars with an ok bench.

Yeah maybe so, but those players aren't on the same plain of existence as Kobe. In the eyes of the world anyhow.

The Lakers won't land him. They don't have the pieces or attractive contracts to deal for him

That's where another team comes in to play.
