Yes there are rumors going on about Melo being pursued by the Lakers and that they are trying to make a move to get him which would give LA a big help and a huge upgrade at the SF position which could possibly include artest being traded in this deal who knows. Andrew Bynum would be the gem for the Nuggets which would be ideal for them because Bynum will be a stud. This would make LA more of a powerhouse then already and in the article it is said this could be trying to scare the Knicks into giving more. It would be fun to see him and Kobe play what are your guys thoughts on this??

Probably not likely to go to LA as it would be hard to move Bynum but its possible i guess.

I don't think the lakers are willing to give up any part of there 2 consecutive championship team. Any Artest for Carmel is not an equal trade at all.

I feel that Carmelo is going to go the Knicks.

Jim Buss turned down the deal for a straight trade; Anthony for Bynum. Kobe and Phil are all up for giving up Bynum for Anthony. About Artest I doubt he will go anywhere. Even though he is horrible on Offense right now, the Lakers will need his defense in the Playoffs.

NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR melo is a great player no doubt but bynum? he is the only reason we win most our games. sure he doesnt get over 15 points a game but all the rebounds? if he leaves and we get melo we only have caracter and smith to play center dont even say gasol cuz gasol is the worst center the NBA has seen. he is a great PF but worst center. i wouldnt mind if they traded him for artest and another person but not someone from the starting line up or shannon brown

I’m just wondering how many people that are against this trade actually watch Laker games. Andrew Bynum has had virtually NO impact on the Lakers winning the last two championships and for those of you that have short term memory loss, he didn’t even play in the second half of game 7 against the Celtics. We are talking about a monster sized kid with two bad knees. This type of situation never gets better people, Lakers need to get what they can for Bynum now before the rest of the League realizes the inevitable , Bynum has talent but his knees are never going to let him exploit it.

If we trade Melo for Bynum we have the dumbest front office in the NBA.... Why would you want an injury prone center thats not even that good. Plus we have Nene and he's gotta be top 3 centers right now. This is a terrible trade for Denver....

lol i m a laker fan and i want melo to come but denver are retards they should have traded with nets in the first place but they pushed it too far and now there are getting bad deals from other teams, bynum was a pretty good player before he became injury proaned he averaged 19 but that would be stupid trade for denver as they alrdy got a good center

I just don't think Kobe can play with another player of that caliber. It's his team, he doesn't like to share.
