1. Make videos/Post videos that you enjoy - If you dont even enjoy them, who will?

2. Be unique. - So many people post gaming videos every day.. Do something that will seperate you from everyone else.

3. HD Quality. - Post videos in HD.. its so much more enjoyable to watch.

4. Do colllaborations or Dual Commentaries. - When you have opportunities to work with other youtubers with nice audiences, go for it.. It'll help get your name out there and gain subscribers.

5. BOX4BOX - Affiliate with similar channels through the "Other Channels" module. It helps your channel gain more subscribers thatll be interested in your videos.

6. Add people as Friends on Youtube. - When you send them friend requests, if you are one of their first 7-21 friends.. you may appear permanantly on their profile page. Also, they may check out your channel after accepting your friend request and subscribe. Finally, when you upload/rate your videos.. They will get that (as a result of being your friend) in their recent activity module on their homepage.

7. Machinima/Community Channels. - A ton of subscribers and exposure can be created from getting your videos on a big channel.

8. Guest Commentators announcing that they are involved. - If you can get a big name to tell their subscribers to check out a video on your channel, you'll gain 100s if not 1000s of subscribers in a 24-48 hour period.

lol....Getting HD videos costs money so that right there is technically impossible to do for free. And doing videos YOU personally want to do won't necessarily get you any subscribers. I got about 43 people that subscribed to me, but my videos kind of suck...lol I mostly upload gameplays some playthroughs of some games. And the less I talk the better because I personally HATE it when people talk in their playthroughs...it annoys me because they never say anything helpful they always bad mouth the entire game throughout every video. And also trying to get a partnership with youtube also is a BIG help twards getting people to view your videos and page. Especially since if your a partner you can upload over 2 hour videos which means you can end up uploading pretty much anything you want thus getting you most likely 100's of subscribers.
