I wasn't going to bother replying because you're obviously not going to see anyone else's point of view. But here it goes anyway.
The "if you don't like it, don't watch it" argument is void. Nobody is going to expect that level of gore on a gaming forum, and not everyone is so de-sensitised that they could actually watch something like that without getting scarred.
Sure you could read the tile but every title on the internet is exaggerated. Most people will read that and think "omg face split open? face plant with a little cut, cool!"
And you saying "you gotta give him props" implies he did something impressive which needs to be watched. And shows a complete lack of empathy for how his life is never going to be the same.
It's the classic asshole reaction: "I don't know the guy so I can watch it for my amusement."
