(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So guys, I always knew that I was skinny, and no matter how much I ate I still remained underweight, the Friday night this picture was taken of me and some random girl

And I just realized how skinny I actually am. I need to put on some serious weight and also build some muscle. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to achieve this goal before the summer?

Check out scooby1961 on youtube and he has literally everything to help you out. But just eat high protein food: red meat, chicken, fish, wholemeal bread, milk and healthy cereals. Every time you're about to workout have a glass of milk (drink water during the workout) and once you're finished eat as much protein rich foods as you can aswell as more milk. In your case you don't seem to give a shit if it's muscle gaining or just pure fat. So you can eat pretty much anything after you've had as much protein as you can. It won't happen in a week or a month either. It will take some time to see some bit of change but if you do about 1 hour of pure weight workouts every day you'll definitely notice it. Seeing as you're another Irish man you'll understand the culchie side of things, ate up them spuds and get that food down ya and you'll get some hair on that chest.

Thanks a lot MBO! This will definitely help me. I'm getting the protein tomorrow. I've got my weight bar beside me. Time for some working out.

Well no amount of lifting is going to improve the size of the muscle that most girls are interested in.

What's your thoughts on creatine? I heard it builds muscle like crazy

DON'T take or even try creatine. Only people that have been weight training for a year or two or more could try creatine but still it's not healthy for anybody. It works on the fact that when you strain your muscles from the weights your body releases a fluid which is what helps rebuild the torn tissue of your muscle. That's completely natural and how we actually build muscle. With creatine the amount of fluid is increased and also retained so it gives quicker muscle gain, yes, but isn't natural so if you suddenly decide to switch up your diet some day it will more than likely make all the work turn to shit. Creatine is also supposed to wreck your liver and can have other sickening side effects like horrible acne on your back and shoulders. My brother and some friends went on it before and just quit it. Bottom line, just don't be looking for easy ways out to get bigger more quickly like the supplements. If you want, do get the protein powder but get %100 whey and as little or no artificial shit in it as possible. You can get tubs of carbohydrate powder also which you'll more than likely need if you're suddenly gonna be going from zero workouts to a lot. It's all simple but you just have to do some research to get understanding about how it all works, just happens that mine was sitting at the back of class messing in biology for the most part until we covered muscle and muscle related topics where I actually payed attention for some time. Also, how old are you man? Because you really shouldn't do weights until about late 17 or 18, it can stunt your growth. If you're younger just forget about weights and just get a body weight regime goin like push-ups and chin-ups, it will do the same thing eventually but just safely ensure you don't **** yourself up.

If you want to seriously put on weight, then get help from a coach or trainer on how to properly use the weight room. If you are going for purely muscle mass, then you'll probably end up lifting either 3 or 4 times a week, and food wise, you just need to increase portion size if you are going to be active. Chicken and fish are great sources of protein, and you should before you do anything go to your doctor to find out if it is even possible to add weight on to your body frame.

Creatine worked amazing on my friends, but i have another friend that pumped them steroids and worked even better :p but seriously start off with protein, if overly skinny, eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches throught the day high in protein and they make you gain weight, and a good way to get a six pack is running alot I played soccer and didn't do much for some time and I saw I was developing a six pack, there's some supplement my friend takes and it helps him I forgot the name, I wouldn't know because I'm just naturally built so I don't take much, and If you say you have an extremely fast metabolism protein won't help you as you would expect it to do...

Reeferlution
Pretty much what everybody else is saying, but you have to remember cardio.
Running is a super good way to get in shape and it helps out with building muscle too.
That and its really fun to do.
