Post: Zip Ties

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok well a kid from California moved into my school (in Ohio) who's a junior. He started this huge deal where everyone is now zip tying each other's backpacks. Apparently he did it at his old school but our school has brought it to new extremes.

Just a normal plastic zip tie (common)

You can pick zip ties up at just about anywhere like a Meijer or Home Depot. Ok there is three ways to zip tie and they all involve the backpack.

1) Ziptie both zippers on the main pocket together. Insert one end through where it is pointing below, and the other on the same spot but the opposite zipper. Then pull and tighten until there is no space between it and you can't fit a paper clip between it. This is because the main method of getting them off is scissors and while they can attempt to cut the thick part, they won't be able to. If they can fit scissors in, just a waste of a zip tie and takes like 2 seconds to get off. You can also zip tie two people's bookbags together.

2) Zip tie to a chair or desk. Very simple, similar to one but you wrap it around the leg of a chair, handle on a cupboard etc.

3) The flip. Ok this is probably the hardest to understand. You're essentially doing the same as step one but it's a bit different. You'll need more time to do this than 1. Number 1 takes like 8 seconds if you're good this takes a good 2 minutes. First unzip and take out all their books and binders. Set them aside and reach all the way down to the bottom of the main section of the bookbag. Grab the bottom and flip it inside out. It will look really weird at this point but just start attempting to put books back in and it will regain it's shape. Next, zip it up to the top but don't have the zipper on the outside, make them on the inside, then zip tie them and carefully tighten and slip the end down inside the bookbag. If you do it correctly, you can't see the zip tie or the zippers and the bookbag is inside out with all of the books in it. On some backpacks there are multiple holes, one closer to the actual zipper, and one closer to the top, if you do the one closer to the zipper, it's nearly impossible to open without bolt cutters to break the zipper.

4) You can think of more ideas like one person got their belt loop zip tied to a chair, and just some other funny stuff but go out and buy some zip ties.

It sounds kinda childish but it's tons of fun.

Dude, do you guys have any idea how old this gag is? I was doing this in the 6th grade... we used to sneak zip ties around girls' ankles in class and then watch them eat shit all over the place.

Thanks wise Knucks for the insight into the old days lol just kidding. Well now if you even have a zip tie on you you get an automatic Saturday School where you have to come to school at 8AM Saturday morning and you get to leave at 2PM. You basically sit and stare at a wall, there's one moniter person in there and no lunch, potty, or any breaks.
