(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So hello there! =D Today I'm asking from NGU community one challenging but simple riddle. I will +rep and give some vBux for the first who can solve this.

We are in prisoner. There is three prisoners in ''shape of triangle'' on the prisonyard. There is 2 white cats and ''unlimited'' amount of black cats in the yard. There is ONE cat behind every prisoner.

- There is ONE prisoner with WHITE cat behind his back.

- Other TWO prisoners have BLACK cats behind their back

- Prisoners can't see which color of cat they have behind their own back.

- ..But prisoner can see behind other prisoner's back.

- Prisoners can't communicate any way.

- They can't move or use anything!

- Prisoners know the fact that there is only 2 white cats and unlimited amount of black ones in the yard.

Prison warder says to them that first one who can solve which color of cat does they have behind their back is free'd from jail. He must explain how he got the answer without watching behind.

So, question to you, my friend is that who is the prisoner who got the liberty? And also explain how you got the answer.
I tell it if no one cant figure it out.

Good luck!

EDIT: Oh so thanks to L3G1TxXZ4LUD3K ! He noticed that there is other answer to this riddle aswell! But yeah there is still no answer for the other way what I meant to be.

Answer #1: There is cats in the yard, right? The one with black cat COULD see white cat running in the yard. And in the triangle he can see that there is white cat behind one prisoner. SO he could yell ''I'm free! I haz teh black cat!'' and get his liberty until he ends up jail again. Smile

Answer #2: (Way I meant it.) So basically free'd prisoner is either #1 prisoner with black cat or #2 prisoner with a black cat. Why? Well prisoner with black cat can see prisoner with white cat and other prisoner with a black cat. Other prisoner with a black cat can see same thing. Prisoner with black cat said that he haves black cat because other one with black one didnt say anything. Reason is that he only saw white and black cat. Then the other prisoner got it because other one would have said something. I mean like if he can see 2 white cats, he would have know the answer. But when he didnt, other one got it. Mindrape, eh :carling:

Well, since prisoners could see behind each others back, and they know there are 2 white cats and an unlimited number of black cats, the 2 prisoners with black cats behind there backs could tell because if they look behind the guy with the a white cats behind there backs, they would know what color their cats are. The 1 prisoner with the white cat would see 1 white cat behind another one of the prisoners, and only one, if he knows there are suppose to be 2 white cats, he'd know that he has a white cat behind his back. :black:

They know there's 2 white cats and unlimited black cats in total. But they DON'T know that 1 person has a white cat and the other 2 have black cats behind their backs.

So for all they know they could all have black cats, or 2 of them could have white cats.

Yeah answer is confusing. I can try say it better and shortly.

Prisoner w/ black cat knew the answer cuz other one w/ black cat would have said that he haves black because he can see white catz. But it didnt went so.. :carling:

Mods, this can be closen because riddle is over.

Do a barrel roll!
think i got it ...
lets call the prisoners 1 , 2 and 3
1 has the white cat with 2 and 3 having black cats.
if 3 saw 2 white cats he would know that he would have black and shout.
since he doesn't, 2 knows that 1 and himself must either have a combination of one white cat and one black, or two black.
when he sees 1 has white , he knows he must have black , shouts and gets freed! Smile :mudkip:

Never come on here anymore
I fixed the whole ****ing thing:

We are in prison. There are three prisoners in the ''shape of a triangle'' on the prisonyard. There are 2 white cats and there are an ''unlimited'' amount of black cats on the yard. There is ONE cat behind every prisoner.

- There is ONE prisoner with the WHITE cat behind his back.

- But the prisoners can see behind each others backs

- The prisoners can't communicate in any way.

- They can't move or use anything!

- Prisoners know the fact that there are only 2 white cats and there are an unlimited amount of black cats in the yard.

Prison Warden says to them that "first one who can solve which color of cat does they have behind their back is free'd from jail." He must explain how he got the answer without looking behind them.

So the question is which prisoner got to leave the prison freely.
