Anyway, cases have been reported in canada and in the UK now. Every single year you hear about a new form of flu, really, it's nothing new.

Lol first its called swine flu, and second yes I believe it is happening, but thankfully it is mostly contained and controlled in the U.S.

Plus we have vaccines and medication for it in the US.

How did he insult anyone? The virus DID start in Mexico. Stating that is in no way insulting to the Mexican race...

Guys this is an AIRBORNE virus. That means you can catch it by someone coughing on you, so make sure you wash your hands and cover your mouth as much as you can around ANYONE sick.

There have been deaths reported with this virus. Right now it is an EPIDEMIC, which means it is spreading "more than assumed". It has the possibility to become a PANDEMIC, or globally spread.

I'm not sure how it started, but the swine flu virus has been around for years and years, it's just not mutated into a human illness. It happens mostly to people who farm (and therefore are around pigs a lot... make sense?). So basically you are alright unless you are constantly hanging out with pigs and not washing yourself afterwords. NOTE that this HAS mutated into a human illness now and there IS NO VACCINE.

Some precautions.. well one. Stay away from anyone who is sick, and wash your fukcin' hands.. If you are sick, STAY HOME.

And Yes, they did lock Mexico City down because of this. They are advising everyone to NOT travel there right now. Also the EU is advising people not to travel to the states.

another case of flu which in my opinion is a storm in a tea cup...people are over reacting..besides we (England) and im sure many other MEDC countries are well prepared for any unexpected threats (we have emergency medicine access to any1 who are experiencing flu symptoms, so you don't have to go to the doctors or anything as this can waste valuable time)
