Being the avid Michigan fan I am this is awsome because the Wolverines should be making the tourney. Looks like we at least have some hope for basketball in Michigan .

The Michigan State Spartans and the Michigan Wolveriens have had a inter-state rivarly going on for years and years now. The past 4-5 years Michigan State has been beating michigan in pretty much all the big sports, football, basketball. The Spartans have really been dominating in basketball the past two years (ranked top ten and made some a final four run and a sweet six-teen run i believe).

At the beggining of the college basketball year (NCAA) they were ranked #2, now there not even ranked in the top #25 and they probrably arn't going to make the big tournament at the end of the basketball year. Michigan who wasn't ranked at the beggining on the year has a win over state and is in the position to make the tourney.

Its almost the same like Kansas and Kansas State but looks like Kansas State is going into march madness..

But yeah that is pretty funny because I remember they really had like 5 losses and were still in the top 25, now they're no where to be found and shall not pass into the tourney .

They were the preseason favorites for the final four and maybe even to win it all. They've been a huge disapointment due to injuries, athelets making bad discisions off the court, and just poor playing.

Only reason they were ranked in the top 25 with 5 losses was because of name recognition and being ranked $2 at the beggining of the year. Most of the voters didn't want to put them lower then that because they were so good the year before and at the begining of the year.

I'm a Michigan fan not a State fan. Michigan fans like Michigan sports not Michigan State sports. They are in-state rivals and most fans of each school hate eachoter :p
