(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well over the last 6 months I've started to notice that I'm gradully becoming less and less interested in gaming I only play games like cod4, fallout 3 and Halflife 2 now but I keep looking for new games to get and it just seems like there is nothing new out there or it's all the same old shit I've seen one hundred times before e.g. killzone 3 and cod black ops.

I was looking through play.com and HMV.com about 30 minutes ago in the games "comming soon" section and still nothing manages to catch my eye. Is it just my imagination or have games designers lost their imagination I remember when I use to jump up and down when I heard there would be a new tony hawks game or something similar but now I'm struggeling to find anything that interest's me anyone else feel like this.

Personally I hope that we get some new sandbox style rpg games out soon I'm so bored of FPS style games now it's all the same shit so yer discuss or drop your opinions here and what sort of games are you hoping to see this year and in the future, also one last thing I like conventional gaming not stuff like kinect, ps move etc that's for hyperactive kids and people that want to lose weight by doing something they enjoy.

I would have to agree. I have also suddenly gotten pretty bored gaming. I used to play CoD pretty much every day, or at least some game. Now most of the time I just don't want to at all, even if I'm bored and doing absolutely nothing. I still do play Black Ops though, but not nearly as much as I used to play the other CoDs.

Kinda weird how a lot of us have the same thoughts... I used to be a cod fanatic, on it all day and all night 16 hours a day But now I barely play once every 1 or 2 weeks

I really enjoyed reading this post because, it describes what I see happening. A lot of games are being very boring, or frustrating.. at certain times. I personally hope game developers would interact more with the community to see what types of games they want to play. I have not yet seen one (big) company that really takes the ideas, of the people, and place it into a game. I'm not talking about minor changes, big things.

Anyways, I really enjoyed reading your post.
