There's been more than 1 death in the US. A baby died in Columbus last night. There have been 10 cases in Columbus alone. This according to Children's Hospital. Also there have been over 50 confirmed exposed, testing is still under way to see if they actually received the virus. In Columbus alone, 1 dead and around 15 cases (estimating that 10% exposed got the virus).
I don't think the CDC is updating their stats because it was the same numbers as it was 2 days ago.
Also 400 schools nationwide have been closed due to confirmed cases of swine flu. So that means there are at LEAST 400 cases in the US. Around 250,000 kids aren't in school for 2 weeks or more because of it.
