Finally released..

With a huge thanks to ENZO-F & Shiver.

I'm currently working on v 2.0 now, So if you have any ideas no matter what quote me :y:
Also check the updates to come page.

Even though its still released, I'm working on it as we speak.. I'll be adding as much and I can.. I really want the PM system but that will be a no no sorry :(

As its still in development I still have things to add/change.. Here's what I intend to do.


  • [s]More quick links[/s] - Done
  • Premium Added
  • [s]Change extension style to NGU's red theme[/s] - Not Possible.
  • Detachable Shoutbox from extension
  • Funky stuff for the mods :whistle:
  • About page
  • Options page (With options on page's you would wish to see ect)
  • Detach the whole app, So if you wish you could have it as another tab or a pop-up box.
  • I'll try and do some kind of PM system.
  • /me for the shoutbox, So if you want a /me you can click a button at the top of the page and it will insert it for you :y:
  • Your updates, If you want something make sure you quote me from this thread and tell me about it Smile
  • Whole new GFX, If your willing to help again quote me.

I've found a problem already. Not huge, but with this picture:

It says in the last paragraph:

"If you don't feel safe logging in with this extension then please to login on NextGenUpdate's homepage"

The bits highlighted in bold doesn't make sense.

Shouldn't it be:
"If you don't feel safe logging in with this extension then please go to the login page on NextGenUpdate's homepage"?

Looking good though! I'd use it, but I'm not using Chrome, or Windows, (using FireFox and Ubuntu 10.10), and can't be arsed to go into the software centre to get Chromium.

But GREAT stuff anyways.

Nice Extension man, I like it and it has most certainly proven useful to me. One thing I've noticed is the lack of being able to Click on someone's username to get re-directed to their profile while being under the Active Users Tab in the Shoutbox, It's not a big deal though nor am I sure if It can be fixed but it's worth pointing out, other than that it's sweet.

Thanks but nothing I can do about that :(

Because its using iFrame it'll always direct in the iframe so nothing I can do sorry.

This should be a sticky man, And how the hell did you make this, And how did you get it to work with google crome.
