mhhm like im am terrible at test's but i just sorta look at the basics of how the question is to be done and i get like 80% on each test but i never do school work ;p

Yes its fairly rare to have. Photographic memories are extremely rare, and most people with a photographic memory have other mental or physical challenges. Just because you can remember images well does not mean that you have a photographic memory. You may have a good memory, even one that is above average, but not necessarily a photographic memory.
An interesting way to test it is to get a book you've never read and flip/fan through all the pages very quickly and then have someone see if you can repeat all the words on the pages, one with a photographic memory will be able to remember all the words on the pages that they saw.

I sort of have a phonographic memory. That is, I can remember just about any sound and most of the details of a conversation, lecture, etc. I can usually completely memorize complex songs (like progressive metal/rock and jazz) within the first couple times I hear them.

me too, it takes me a while to get down pictures, but I can get down most of a song after hearing 1 or 2 times.
