I don’t know about you, but B.I.G. change my Hip Hop Musical taste forever!, It might be because I’m from the Stuy, but there Was NO Rapper at the time that could have touched him, even to this day his songs can play amongst the most popular Music, and sound better!! Frank Wza was cut down at the young age of 24 in L.A., Now March 9th will forever live in our minds as one of the worst days in Hip Hop.

Kk I apologize, it's just my 7 year old brother knows all about Biggie & Tupac.. I know hillbillies that know about them. I found it hard to believe when you said that.

I mean playing some Biggie or Pac could turn a tease into a sure thing!! :arate:

Now dont get me wrong im a big fan of BIG and think he could shit all over any new school rapper easily.....with that being said, i think BIG was/is very overreated.

my reasoning being he only put out 2 albums so we dont know if he would have stood the test of time(though he probably would've stayed relevant) but also look at his mentor if you will, fuccin puff daddy. Puffy sucks and may have turned BIG mroe commercial over time if he had lived. Plus most people only know him for his hits. and one of his best known songs, hypnotize, he stole the hook from slick rick!!

I agree im a BIG fan and i think biggie was overrated for sure while big L and Tupac are spitting doubles biggie was still spitting singles and he stole the beat from hypnotize from a 1979 jazz band too and he had some questionable quotes in his songs like "I got techniques dripping out my butt cheeks, sleep on my stomach so i dont **** up my sheets" thats pretty wack or ..."I don't wanna rape ya, I just want the paper" dont get me wrong i still think Biggie was sick and has a sick flow but for sure overrated
