every day, every month, every year, younger people are being killed

whether it be gang violence, drugs or just nutters going into scools and letting a clip off or 2....

Video games and Videos have been blamed for this or try'd to pass the blame to them ....

what do you think ?
most online play with COD4 is quality .... but every now and then you get nutters just going mental at other people (lol) they dont even know them !! sometimes they have mic plugged in and hook up to the maddness ... is it the game that brings this out in people ?? or is it the age or mentality off the user ???
COD4 game in the UK has 16yrs rating / soon COD5 18yrs rating
GTA4 18yrs
i'm sure some people in here dont meet the requirements lol
i know my son doesn't for COD but has a profile
but he doesn't get to play GTA4 !!!!!!

whos to blame
games ???
parents ???
society ???

Since I now know you are a parent I think I will say that parents are to blame. The way kids interact reflects their personal life. Sure the kid might get the idea to use an uzi to kill someone because of the game but you have to know this, the game isn't what put the thought of murder in the kids head. It is his personal life that is fked up. As a parent I think you should try as hard as you can to get a hold of you child and let them tell you what is going on in their lives. I know it isn't that easy, but you must try to help them. If you notice they seem mentaly unstable get the a Shrink to handle things with them. Have tests run to see if they are depressed. Also stuff like when kids go into schools and kill their peers this isn't because of some video game. Seriously think of that. "The reason I murdered over 50 people today was because I saw it on Grand Theft Auto.....I swear...". It maybe an excuse but not the reason for the murders and maddness.

Well I have the games people say you shouldnt have because of violence , drugs ect. And well i have NEVER thought to go out and rob someone for there belongings , or take drugs , so i think blaming computer games isnt really fair. Its the way the kids are rised , if you live in a drug , gun crime community 60% of the time the child will end up that way. They do it to fit in with their mates , because they think its ''cool''. So I blame the way the children are rised. Smile

the only reason i can get games like GTA4 and COD$ is because my parents know i wouldnt go out and shoot people in school or anything like that plus y would i, i would ruin my life

I would say that video games are just a reflection of our society, they don't create it. our society loves violence, it's everywhere all day long TV, music, films, toys, COD is not that much worse than some of the stuff on cartoon network!
humans have always had a violent nature with millions upon millions killed in conflicts in the last century alone, maybe it's in our genes. Most of us can do our killing on a tv screen but unfortunately there are allways going to be nutters, there have been psychopaths longer than there have been video games.
it reminds me of a line from a film, maybe American Psycho it's something like 'movies don't create killers, they make killers more creative'.
In short I blame society.

Hurah!
Don't ever blame games. It's all about the person who plays them. If he/she has mental disabilities or disorders that cause them to freak out and make a video game a reality, they shouldn't play games. If there under 18, there parents should know that. If there above 18, it's there own damn fault.

Just read the following quote and you will see. I had to type all of it.

Games don't kill people, Grandstanding politicians do
I'm sick and tired of this gaming witch-hunt! Activists like Jack Thompson and Hilary Clinton have their own little crusade against gaming, and the media just loves to slam any game with so much as a gunshot in it. Why do these people want games gone? They may claim it's to protect the children, but it's because they don't understanding the technology, and that makes them afraid. What these people fail to realize is that after congressional hearings in the early 1990s, a rating system was created. Thee ratings, as gamers know, appropriately classify content for players of all ages, as determined by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. My point is this: little Johnny nine-year-old shouldn't be playing GTAIV. Parents need to look at a rating, consider the game's content, and then decide if it's right for kids. We need educations, not laws.
The people at fault here aren't game makers. aren't game sellers, aren't gamers themselves, but the parents. Until we stop treating games like child's play, and start treating them like we do movies, music, and TV, then the problem will continue.

Hmm I think it's the cops and like mm Tv because the people like want the guns and then they like get Tv to in courge them so it's kinda the parents also.Im just guessing but im probably wrong lmao.Oh wait then the Tv has like ads then like people go out with fake id's and buy them then they become corrupted lmfao. And its also the friends they can lead to bad stuff.

PARENTS NEED TO BE RESPONSABLE.
