Production has been halted at many factories in Japan, as companies assess the damage of the earthquake and tsunami on the north-east coast.
Sony, Toyota, Nissan and Honda are among firms to have closed plants, along with main food companies and also big manufacturers. Heres a list of the following companies and their current status. PSN went down as servers were damaged when the Earthquake struck, i believe they are back online now.

This will effect countries world-wide, due to the back log of stock that is usually shipped out overs seas. There will be a massive back log in Cars, Food and general products that usually come from Eastern Asia.
