Can you guys give some ideas or if you know of any websites or videos were i can get a idea for How To Be a Good Commentator..

To be a good commentator you need to be able to clearly explain why and what you are doing to have winning game play. On top of that, a good personality, being funny and informative all are what make me subscribe to certain commentators. Check out videos by guy's like Seananners, Hutch, Randy Savage, FPS Russia, Onlyusemeblade for some inspiration.

What you should do too is prepare a text that you will read :y: be preapared, know your videos well and know what to say. You should also be attractive and interesting. Your videos must be good too. You need a good sound and a clear voice.

OMG Misleading titles. Be more specific. In stead of writing "how to be a good commentator" ( like a TUT). You should write. " Need tips for Commentating" or something.

Talk about things going on in the real world, and in your life. If you watch any popular youtube commentators, they don't always focus on the game itself, they may just give a brief intro to the gameplay, then they talk about real things, things important to people.

If you're going for true gameplay commentary, talking solely about the gameplay and giving tips on how to improve and talking strategy... then you need to be interesting (make jokes, be funny, but keep it serious), you need to present new and relevant information (bring something new to the table), and you need to be detail oriented, but also give broad tips that can improve everyone's gameplay.

Be yourself.

If you REALLY wanna be a good commentator, use guys like FPSRussia, Hutch, ec1Baller, etc, ONLY as a reference. I'd suggest being yourself but also try and bring something new to the table that people have never seen before.

What I do is I write down a bunch of things I might talk about on paper, like sort of make a list, so I don't ramble on or stop talking

Everything everyone above me has said. Although, I'd like to include 'Be Unique', I mean seriously to make it to the Top you really need to offer something different to the Community as I personally think that the Commentary thing has become a little bit too Generic mainly due to people producing the same thing. Although I've seen a minority of people who are different, I'd like for this Minority to grow into bigger group of people who all Offer their own intriguing and Unique set of Gameplay/Commentary/Montages, they seem to add their very own unique touch that gives the viewers Good Laugh. Looking at these people, I'd say they deserve the subs they get and if you'd like to be one of them, Then I'd say work on something Unique for yourself.

tl;dr: Be unique/different while offering the normal goodies.
