a waiver is the way to go! just make it say that anything that happens to them that your not responsible for it!! several places do that

Put a sign on it while its off duty saying "if you get hurt its NOT my fault."

Post VERY CLEAR signs stating that you are not liable for any injuries that happen while on or near the climbing wall. I would suggest multiple signs that are in an easy view. Legalities for that kind of stuff are a bitch these days.

yes put up signs stating no tresspasing and that you are not reliable for anything that happens! and if they cant read then you cant help it and if they sue you have signs that show YOU are not responsible

In most areas, you need a permit. Then I believe you would have a lawyer draft a waiver for you. You will most likely have to get that approved too. Just put a thick, all-weather, mat down at the base; solves the death problem.
