Post: [Tutorial] Change the Date of Birth On YOUR Passport! [Noob Guide]
03-13-2011, 10:14 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This method of changing your passport doesn't involve any heat mechanism tools to slightly melt the plastic to reach the inbetween card where your info and image is printed onto...

Requirements:
- A passport of ANY kind
- £2.50 (Around $5 if USA, other currencies vary)
- Scissors
- Celotape (Sticky tape)

When I was 16 all I wanted to do was, buy drink, smoke and drink at a bar or local club. So "me and the boys" came up with a pretty good idea and took minutes and a tiny amount of money each time to do this..

My original birth year is 1992, so as printed on my UK passport I can see:
XX XXXXXXX 1992 - (The X's are my DOB, for obvious reasons)
But after this trick, I could see
XX XXXXXXX 1990 - (Thus, at the time making me two years older and 19 Happy)

So how did I do it?
Follow these steps,

Step 1
If you can do this at home then this is best, IF you have a colour scanner attached to your PC at home or at a friends, simply make a full scan of your original passport (both pages which display your image and personal information onto the PC (DO NOT EDIT WITH PAINT SOFTWARE LOL)
Print it off as it was when you scanned it, so now you have a photocopy of your passport on paper Smile
(YOU CAN DO THIS AT A LOCAL PRINTING STORE, NOTE THAT SOME STORES HAVE THE OPTION TO DECLINE SERVING YOU AS COPYING YOUR PASSPORT UNFORTUNATELY IS AGAINGST THE LAW, LUCKILY FOR ME THE LOCAL PRINTING STORE KNEW THE SCORE AND PRINTED FOR ME EVERYTIME)

Step 2
Now, on the paper copy of your passport you see the numbers on the date of birth? They are a particular size and kinda different font to all the other writing over the passport. Bare this in mind, look around the piece of paper for a 0
Yes a zero
But it must be the same size and appearence of the numbers on your date of birth.

For example,
My passport issue date sais (Jun 07)
The 0 from there does fine Happy

Now with a pair of scissors VERY CAREFULLY cut the zero from the page, so you have a tiny oval shaped piece of paper with a 0 on it. Make sure to cut as close to the edge of the 0 for maximum effect.

Step 3
Place the zero you just cut onto a flat surface, facing upward so you can see the zero if you look down at it.
Cut a piece of celotape (doesn't need to be no longer than about 2 - 3cm)
Pinch the tape with your finger and thumb each side and place (sticky side down) over the the zero with the zero aligned to the middle of the celotape as much as possible (makes the next step easier) and lift upward (DO NOT FULLY STICK IT TO THE SURFACE, JUST ENOUGH TO GET THE 0 STICKING TO THE CELOTAPE) now once lifted away you should have a piece of celotape still pinched between your fingers and thumbs either side with the zero stuck on the sticky side, so you can still see the black 0.

Step 4
Now, get your real passport open to the page where your date of birth is..
Whatever it is (as this guide is designed for under 18's) chances are your year of birth will be similar to the following:
1992
1993
1994
1995

Now, align the 0 with the last digit of your birth year.
(Mind being 1992 I aligned the 0 up with the 2 on the end of 1992 on the passport. Carefully stick the 0 over the top of the 2, and stick the whole piece of celotape onto the passport with it (as it's seethrough you shouldnt be able to see much outline)

Notice now your date of birth will say 1990 (If done correctly)
You should also notice that theres a slight bump where the 0 is if you
run your finger over you can feel it slightly. Nevermind, get an iron you would use to iron clothes with (MAKE SURE ITS TURNED OFF) lay it ontop of your passport and press down hard a few times 10 seconds a piece with 3 second intervals roughly.. Repeat this about 3 - 4 time, now run your finger accross it, pretty much no bump, hold it up and take a look Happy

NOTE:
The room you're looking at your success in may be very bright and so, obviously you know that the tricks been done so you will notice it more than others. But think, going to a club, in most scenarios it's not really bright outside when you're going in, quite dark (night time).

Always feel free to simply peel off your work of art incase you may be going on holiday, going to open a bank account, going for a job interview or something which requires your actual identity.
