That type of behavior is wrong and Kudos to you for having the courage to challenge them on it.
And if he punched you first then you are within your rights to defend yourself.
If you GF has a problem with what you did than get a new one.
People need to stop worrying about what may happen and stand up for what is happening!!
Ignoring assholes like that is why there are more and more of them.

I'm sorry, it just get's on my nerve that so many people use the word "ignorant" when they don't even know what ignorant means. That's just ignorant. I'm not saying your ignorant, just tell me how these people were being "ignorant".

These guys were talking about a nation that was endangered, their opinions were uneducated, and stupid. Not to mention apathetic.
