(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Who do you think the best basketball player in the NCAA is?

For a pure scorer i think Jimmer Fredette is the best, but all around i'd have to say Jared Sullinger.

Jimmer's good but I feel like he shows off too much. Whats the point for shooting the ball from 30 feet aways, are you serious?? But at least he makes the jumpers, thats all I can ask for.

The problem with the NCAA now is nobody stays long enough to truly get great enough to be a nba-ready can't miss. Back in the 90's, people thought it was a big deal for a great player like Grant Hill or Chris Webber to leave early as a junior. Now the kids think that if they don't declare for the draft after 1 year they are not elite. Look at Hasheem Thabeet, or a jerryd bayless, who were regarded as super elite young players(2nd overall and 11th overall), but when they faced nba level competition it blew their minds. NBA should make it to where you can either a)sign out of highschool or b)if you select to go to college you have to stay for 3 years. Answering the question though, Kemba Walker, Jacob Pullen, the Morris twins, and Jimmer are all very elite. Sullinger is good but I think the refs help him out waayyyyyy too much.

The problem with jimmer is that he is not going to be able to create his own shots vs guys like Rondo, cp3, nash, kidd...there's no chance unless he's shooting from half court. His shooting ability is awesome, but he's not gonna be covered by random white dudes in the Mountain West conference in the NBA.

Agreed with everything that you said. As for the best player I would say Sullinger or Kemba Walker mainly because Fredette plays in the mountain west and Walker and Sullinger both play in respectable conferences.
