After three years of President Obama some parts of U.S. have been effected economically and socially, others not so much. Has your political stance changed?
If so, What political party do you belong to? What progress have you seen and what would you like to see?
I agree that politics is messed up, what we should have is a direct democracy, that way the people actually have a say in government affairs. Instead these politicians cater to their lobbyists and special interest groups that helped fund their campaign.

So many people would get annoyed and void their vote so often that its not worth having a direct democracy, youd still have only a few people making the decisions for a country.
Idk how things are across the pond but here in the UK our 2 primary political parties are f*cking useless, each in their own unique way.
Whilst they both completely abandon anything they promised pre-election in their manifestos they both add their own embarrassment to the UK, be it letting in a f*ck-load of immigrants or making the country set up for the rich, making it impossible for the poor to make ends meet.
US Needs a third major party, to be sort of a centerist party. Being set on one set of goals for both the republic and democrats isnt very good, and they should have a best of both party.

I agree totally. The government is starting to control our lives. Obama can't even speak in public without a TelePrompTer. /facepalm

I disagree. I think it would encourage more people to vote. Not having the government there to control every single aspect of our lives, would make people happy to vote. The country would be in better health.
