I have not been affected in anyway, either economicly or socialy but having Obama as President. But also i live in Norway so we don't give a f*ck =D

Well sure it can affect other countries as well, trade for instance. The whole world is connected by trade. Inter-globalization. If the U.S. economy were to crash, it would affect the rest of the world.
