mel gibsons' apocalypto is a great movie also the first half of i am legend as once the dog gets bitten the film goes straight downhill other than that one of the vietnam films like apocalypse now, oh yeah and finally 2001: a space oddysea.

They weren't marines, it was a joint operation between Army Rangers and Delta Force. Winky Winky

And yes its a great movie.

I dont have a "best movie ever", but I have many favorites. A few of them are The Matrix, BladeRunner, The Longest Day, Tears of the Sun, Sniper, Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2, Saving Private Ryan, and Top Gun.

My favorite series is Band of Brothers. Thats the best war-related movie/series I have ever seen. Watch it all the time.
