(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have recently seen some threads of people selling some Dr Dre Headphones, and frankly I"m beginning to think that the fakes are arriving really fast from china.

Example:
You must login or register to view this content.

You would think: "Wow! I can get a pair of 150 Dollar headphones for only 40 dollars!"

Wrong.

There would be almost an 99 Percent chance nobody would sell the headphones for that price, if it is legit, it would probably be broken or stolen.

I decided to give this guy who was selling the headphones a text, he replies with :
You must login or register to view this content.

Right after I replied with the "I want a legit yes or no" text, he tries to explain that the Headphones are "After market" Meaning it was made in another Factory, Meaning not by the official factory,Meaning FAKE!

Easy ways to tell if the Headphones are Legit:

If you are still not convinced that I am lying, and that that craigslist post is a stupid seller and is actually selling legit ones, please click on these:

Aftermarket means they aren't the original ones that come with ummm the ipod? For a car stereo, aftermarket ones are the ones you buy in a store to replace the stock ones. I suppose for headphones the same thing applies?

To add something useful to this thread, when things sound too good to be true, they are. Also if people avoid answering your question directly, or they act like they are trying to avoid it, they are trying to scam you in some way.

If this is true, he was explaining it too me wrongly then on the phone. He said that when the original company stopped making the headphones(Which they did), They "tell" another company to start making new ones.

He gave me an example too, he said these were like Nikes, like how their factory is in like indonesia(Forgot what continent), and then taiwan starts making them without their approval. Isnt that considered fake?

Most people should use common sense to not get them when they're suspiciously cheap :P

I never buy anything from unknown retailers, kijiji, ebay, craig's list, etc for that reason. But maybe for the lolz, I can get my friend who is going to china to get a black market on for me. I'll see.

Some people sell real things on ebay but they normally have like a really good homepage which effort was put into and not just some crap things for shitty fake ones.

But amazon is probley the cheapest legit website i have ever seen, or try home and bargin :plank:
