Their a prime example of what's wrong with music today. Black Eyes Peas and Akon were good in the past. Now they've become more new age and commercialized. I personally hate all these new silly artist purely for the lack of talent. It doesn't take any skills to come up with some trash like that. Real talent and hard work are a thing in the past according to this new, modern, shitty music industry. People get record deals for the stupidest songs. Theres real talent and people that are dedicated to what they do whom are out there. Check youtube for example, theres tons of artist on their that have actual talent. They write poems, meaningful lyrics with a message. I like those songs because I can relate to them, I have a connection with it. Old Eminem is the perfect example. He rap'd about his life, his hardships, the good but mostly the bad. I grew up listening to him and really related to a lot of his work. His new stuff is still up to par lyrically but the beats are his rapping style are changing. My bad for such a long response, but it's just how I feel. These talentless artist disgust me.

Basically, old music is 1000x better than this new shit, and I think artist like 2pac were the truth. They can never and will never be replaced.

I think 420 summed it up pretty good. A lot of these new "artists" are in it for the money even if they have no talent at all, like Rebecca Black. At least JB can sing and has actual lyrics (I think...?) even if he is whiny and a stuck up dick. Sure, he's kind of in it for the money and not the fans, hence why he kicks off when fans get in his hotel room and so on.

And ultimately, many people are jealous at the fact they are stuck on the internet trolling on the people that are making money, because of the fact they don't/can't be arsed/haven't thought about doing something, while people younger than them are making millions.
