This could be the first person you spoke to, the first person you added as a friend or the first person you added on Playstation/Xbox. Whoever you would classify as your first friend.

I personally have to say my first friend here was Mr. Wood, I first joined the site, and I said in the shoutbox, 'Anyone want to play Mossy V1 on rust?' He was really the only person to reply, so I added him and we played some mods together, so we got talking and he was a nice kid to talk to, so then after that he was really helpful to me and helped me get used to the site, and actually helped me get known.

However then as most of you know, there was the moderator applications, Mr. Wood didn't get a moderator position he complained a lot and left the site. It was a shame because I liked him up until that point.

So, who was your first friend on NextGenUpdate?

Does anyone remember during the holidays where the staff would try to post up a happy holidays thread and theyd get bitched out by everyone because Matt posted up that 'What I've Noticed' thread? Id say thats when I truly made friends because we felt like such badasses trolling Edge. I had friends before that in the mw2 sections but none like i've met in GD. Id say Matt was my first NGU bestie

Probley been dopey, he was a nice mod, i helped him out with a thread and he was the first to ever rep me which with his rep power, helped a lot. But my first ever was nathenx, he was like the first to ever to comment and he seemed really nice, i later added somthing to his big ipod thread and we never spoke since, which i wish we did more of, but also dazpowder and others who i kinda spoke to and they seemd really friendly, like this comunity most of them are really friendly so its easy to make friends here.

He spoke to me when I needed help in mw2 section (back with prestige hack) had a very old psn of his he may or may not use it now I do not know and he managed to come by a £100 PSN account and PM'ed me (back when I was Thomk79 non premium) asking if i would like to buy a share for £8 and we decided what to buy with it.

I speak to him sometimes now but not half as much as I would like to.

God knows I got a shit memory and to be quite frank I wouldn't call anyone on here a friend but there are quite a few ( a handful) who I have a lot of respect for, they know who they are and I ain't gonna name them cuz I can't remember everyones names :y: :n:

You know what I mean, you can't really call someone you have never a met a friend per say, but, it can be someone you just really like to talk to, or as you said have a lot of respect for.
