All of the cables are in the wall besides where they come out to the dcs player and the projector. There are cables straight from the dcs player to the projector, and there is one cable that I assume goes to the surround sound. Here are some pics

Here is the projector side. The ps3 default av cables are plugged in. And the cables that go from the dvd player/direct tv box to the projector are there.

I don't have access to the cables in the wall because we rent this out when we aren't here and i can't get access to the room with everything in it. So if anybody can get an answer as to what I need to do with adapters and what not.

But what do you need?

plug the yellow one from the PS3 to the projector. the red and white from the PS3 should go to your receiver where the surround sound is located. so your video will go to the projector and the audio will go to your surround sound system, right?

I would do that. But the room where the stuff is located is locked. And we can't get to it at the moment.

I am trying to gain access to that room. But is there an adapter that goes from those cables in the first picture to my ps3?

i've never hooked it up before but i don't think so? I don't really understand the need to go in that room. all you need is the surround sound receiver, your ps3, and the projecter. all the other wires are behind the wall to hide the wires going to all the cool speakers and shit. :p

I don't have the receiver. It's in that room im pretty sure. But the wires in the pics are the only things I have access to

I do have surround sound lol. But the yellow cord is for video. I can play my ps3 on the peojector. I'm just trying to get sound... that's all I want. The only cord I have that goes to the surround sound is the cable on the far left of the first pic. And there is no where to plug that into
