(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});Some of you guys may have heard of Alain Robert, the human "spider ma", hes this French man who decides to climb buildings in his spare time with NO HARNESSES OR SUPPORT at all. On Monday he climbed the 2,717ft building in the United Arab Emirates. May I point out it is illegal to do this and he gets arrested a lot of the time. It took him six hours to climb the 828-m building, including the spire above the top floors. A crowd watched from the ground as he moved up the building, spotlights were shone when it got dark.Unusually, he used a rope and harness (never usually does) to comprimise with the safety rules. this is a picture of Alain strapped to a safety harness, clinging onto the building, more than 100 floors high, he began his climb up the silvery, glass-covered tower just after 6pm (2pm GMT) on Monday.
Alain, 48, has climbed more than 70 skyscrapers, including the Empire State Building and the Willis Tower in the US, and the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), according to his website. In 2004, he climbed Taiwan's Taipei 101, the world's tallest building at the time.
