I know this site is a hacking and gaming forum mainly but i have just said to myself, Is Gaming Worth It?
Personally, I think that it is good fun and it passes to time. It is also a good way to communicate as well as going out. On the other hand I feel that it is a waste of my time and I could be learning some new things that I am good at.
The reason I made this thread is to ask all you guys if you think that gaming is actually worth doing. Comment here with you answer.

I look at gaming as a hobby, a sort of escape. It is a social interaction when you considering online gaming. It is a waste of time, but that's dependent on how you define waste. If I'm 'wasting' time doing something I enjoy, then I guess it is. Your constantly learning new things anyways, so I don't think it bothers with my learning. I used to play my PS3 a lot, and half ass my school work, but that was in high school where school work was easy as shit. I still game whenever I have some free time, solely because it's enjoyable.

video games are getting boringgg....cod is dead, the community has gone WAY down hill (cod not NGU). idk games arent really that fun to me anymore

A few years ago, i was top of the class. Now i am struggling. I have major course work to do that will effect my life. Technology is destroying my personal, social and future life, it is deducting my brain and I struggle more. I can do nothing as technology is everywhere and so easy to get to. It is in my pockets, it is where I do my homework.
But the main reason is this:
I am addicted.

Don't play CoD then, not all games has gone down.
