Agreed, I get that feeling all the time.
Usually once you start hacking, it's hard to go back.
It's more like a drug although I do my best to avoid it nowadays unless I'm at my utmost boredom with a game I find myself no future with.

I enjoy legit much more. I got console banned from black ops on ps3 for the eboot hack, and it's not even worth it. I hacked ps2 games for years, I'd rather just play legit these days. I actually enjoy playing Black Ops with my friends on xbox.

What about glitching though? Would you exploit that?
