(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, well i fractured my 5th metatarsal close to the joint on the 1st of April and now after 12 days i can walk on my foot when im wearing my basketball shoes. I don't feel pain because I'm not really putting preassure on my fracture, I sort of walk on my heel. I was only given a an elastic bandage.
Now, should I walk like i do or should I stay off it as much as I can, because Prom is coming up on the 22nd of June and I really wanna go, do you think it will heal by then?

The X-ray does not show my foot, I just found an X-ray and drew something that represents my fracture.

Rep + to everyone that helps, thanks

shouldnt you be asking this to a professional? Go to the hospital, ask the person who gave you the elastic bandage

Your asking a GAMING site about bones and fracture?! How many people do you think on here are trained doctors?

you should defiantly stay off your foot, screw going to prom tell your date to come over and bang you with her mouth instead

(it'll heal dude, you should be fine)

At least I can fight
If you can walk I suggest going to the prom and taking her to like a private area then getting her to dance around you Happy

True.
I broke my second metatarsal a while ago, it should heal within 6-8 weeks after you fractured it I'd say. When your resting, always remember to keep your foot up, raise it higher than your waist Cool Man (aka Tustin)

A fracture to the 5th metatarsal is a common injury, I know how important prom is and from past expirence... I would recomend keeping use to minimal until, early/ middle May and then re engage in trying to putting it into full use! You should be 100% okay to walk and dance by June 22nd! Smile And you will be able to attend you prom! =D
