Death should be feared, but not greatly. Meaning, you shouldn't let the fear of death keep you from having fun, but the way I believe things work, you die, and then you stop thinking. For me, there is no "after." This is why death should be feared. You only get one chance at life, don't throw it out the window. Enjoy it as much as you can without damaging your body or mind.

I feel the same way, but what is the point in that case of enjoying life, except for the thrill you have for some time. I think of when you die as thats it. So what does it matter. If you have no feeling or thinking or anything to process anything then what you have done in your life is completely irrelevant to you.

You only have so much that you can experience. Sure, technically it won't affect you in the long run, but if you're going to just cease to exist, personally, I would want to have a long life that I could enjoy.

I agree to some degree. I feel like life should be enjoyed, otherwise whats the point in life. Where I am at is that life should be enjoyed, and if possible, make it so others can enjoy theirs as well.

Death is not what I fear, but not knowing what happens after death is what I fear.
