What makes you want to be staff?

To be bombarded daily with a VM wall full of requests?
To get 20 PM's a day claiming this guy or that guy screwed me?
To be told all the time that I didn't close a thread quickly enough?
To be accused of having favorites?
To have to make disipline choices against friends?
To be told that I have changed since getting it?
To deal with the constant PM barrage every time I enter the ShoutBox?
To have to deal or follow policy I may disagree with?
To give up hours of my free time to deal with all of the above for some increase Rep or a bold name when I couldn't stand it anymore??

Please make me a Moderator and move me quickly up the ladder on NGU

Why would I like to be moderator? A couple of reasons.

Firstly, I am, as everybody knows, a very good member. No matter what I am I will always be good. Whenever I say good I mean that everybody knows me and that I am awesome :p.

Whenever I want my own thread closed because whatever I was hosting is over, or just generally whenever I am done with it, I don't like the fact of having to ask another member of staff to do it, generally they are always "busy" (watching porn) or just "not bothered" (watching porn). I want to be able to close it myself, freely and proudly. And whenever I see a real bullshit thread in a section, I want to be able to close it, as everybody on NGU, (yes, all 500,000 of you) knows it'll get nowhere and it's better off in the past.

Power I would require? I don't give a shit about power, however it would help me in situations like that. Shoutbox wise, whenever you see a noob (hacker55gg) post a smiley spam



You are sitting there, defenceless and can not do anything, but wait for a Moderator to report it, I have had times where I have reported people to Moderators that have smiley spammed WITH proof and nothing was done with it, most members here know I am fairly active around the Shoutbox especially at nighttime as that is when I get on mostly, and that's also where the members think "Nice! No moderators at night, time to spam a link to my forum!" or something similar, not whenever I am there.

Plus I am friendly to the community, a thing that not alot of Moderators have. I'm not trolling on anybody on the staff team, but I find support for the NGU Staff a little bit weakless, they ignore you most of the time I think :confused:

Being friendly to the community is a big heads up, helping others out, doing their requests to close threads right away, most Moderator's would say "Yeah I'll do it in a minute." about an hour later, it still isn't closed.

I know this was a fairly long post but I just wanted to be honest of what i'd be doing if I was some form of staff, nomatter what, I won't turn into an a*hole like some other staff. I wont point out names.

just to help the site and members out like i know some members are in the shoutbox for ages asking for a moderator but none seem to reply and i would love to help them in anyway i could.. and to keep the site in shape like in the mornings when im here and theres no moderators and people are spamming and flamming i asked them to stop but then they flame me so i just leave the site because they're noobs..

Truthyfully i would like the coulor but im fine with being a memeber and its to much responsibility and as a member you can still help people which is why some of you were saying you want to be a mod.

Just being the person to look to when in need of help. Would be nice to be seen as a 'Helper'
