I'm have an iPhone 4, but I like the xperia play, and I am tempted to sell my iPhone to get one, since none of my friends have the sony phone

iPhone would pwn the xperia

Wait for the xperia to get a few generations in before purchasing. It'll need to work out the many bugs and issues that will present before it's on the level that the iphone is currently. It has a great concept, just wait.
